Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your patience and support following the EDB decision to close schools on Tuesday Sept 18th. The closure has given us the opportunity to assess damage to our facilities due to Typhoon Mangkhut. The College is open for staff who will gradually make their way in.

The campus has sustained some minor damage, with broken glass in a few places, damage to our outdoor eating areas, and minor flooding. Our site team will be on campus this morning working hard to ensure we are back up and running as soon as possible.

Access to the College is significantly hampered by many downed trees along Sui Wo Road. We are hopeful much of this will be cleared over the course of the day.

The ESF Music Concert due to take place at Island School this evening has been cancelled. We will keep you up-to-date about the Music Concert we are due to host at Sha Tin College on Wednesday evening.

Please continue to monitor our website for the most up-to-date information as Hong Kong continues to recover from the after-effects of the typhoon.
