Year 11 Parents’ Consultation Evening bookings via Gateway

Dear Parents/Guardians

You are invited to attend this Parents’ Consultation on Wednesday, 11^th November 2015 where you will have the opportunity to meet and consult with teaching staff to discuss your son/daughter’s progress. We strongly encourage the Year 11 students to attend also as this can greatly help with the discussion about their learning.

Beginning Monday, 2^nd November at 12.00pm, you can make an appointment to see members of staff you would particularly like to meet. This is done through Gateway, in the Parent Consultation module. The booking system will close at 12.00pm on Tuesday, 10^th November. Please refer to the following link for instructions on how to do this:

You are advised to bring your confirmed appointment list with you to the Parents’ Consultation on the 11^thof November. This can be printed via Gateway. There is no need to make appointments with GTS teachers as students have not yet completed a major assessment and many GTS teachers also teach other subjects to Year 11. It will, however, be possible to make appointments with Mr. Campbell and Mr. Stott if you have careers or Higher Education related questions that you wish to discuss.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to listen to a presentation by Mr. Campbell and Mr. Stott about how our Senior School programmes relate to Higher Education pathways and career choices. This seminar will be held in the Senior School Centre at 4.15pm and will be repeated again at 5.30pm. The seminar will last approximately 30 minutes, so please be aware that during your selected seminar you should avoid making appointments to see your child’s subject teachers. Please reply to Ms. Allie Cho at chos6@stconline.edu.hk to confirm which session you wish to attend and how many people will be in attendance.

Vice Principal Mr Paul Hoang, who is in charge of the Options process, will also be available to talk to parents who have questions about particular Options combinations.
