Year 11 Options

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Year 11 students will have an assembly on Friday 25th September as part of the Post-16 Options process. Students will be introduced to the IB Diploma Programme and various alternative curriculum pathways that are available at Sha Tin College and the English Schools Foundation. Form tutors will help to distribute the Year 12 and 13 Curriculum Brochure after the assembly. This important publication provides full details of the options available for students in the Senior School. An online copy will be made available on the College website next week for you to access.

The assembly will also enable students to be informed about the arrangements for Friday 2nd October when students will be involved in a range of activities to help them with their Post-16 options choices. These assessments and activities are designed to help your child with option choices that match their abilities, personalities and career-related interests.

Please spend some time with your child to read the Year 12 and 13 Curriculum Brochure and discuss the various options available. If you have any initial questions, please feel free to contact one of us at the College.
