IB Diploma Results: May 2022 – Sha Tin College
Sha Tin College is extremely proud to announce another outstanding set of IB Diploma results. What is particularly remarkable about the students’ achievements is that Sha Tin College is an inclusive school, catering for students of almost all abilities. The percentage of our students awarded the IB Diploma is an impressive 98.6% and it is extremely pleasing to again see that this year’s students achieved an average Diploma point score of 40.
Similar to last year, we have eleven students who have achieved the highest possible result of 45 points: Esther Tsz Tung Tai, Oscar Charles Lee, Hoi Yat Jeffrey Chan, Andrea Chow, Nathan Soong-Boc Hui, Ga Eul Kim, Chun Wai Lim, Hillary Hin Ching Lo (Bilingual Diploma), Ching Kiu Tsang, Ryan Wai Ching Orr and Hok Lam Lee. Another nineteen students have achieved 44 points. Overall, 89 students (62.2% of the Diploma cohort) achieved 40 or more points.
In addition, nine students have been awarded the Bilingual Diploma: Tze Yue Liu, Hillary Lo, Xuechen Zhou, Yin To Ho, Stanley Liyuan Qu, Shun Nga Chan, Adelaide Tsang, Maxime Girma and Timothy Andreev.
We would like to congratulate Camellia Madeleine Kendrick, our IB Careers-related student, who was awarded her IBCP. Fantastic work! We are also tremendously proud of our five IB Courses students. They all did very well in their individually chosen pathways.
Whilst we are extremely proud of the students mentioned above, we are also particularly proud of the many students who fulfilled their personal potential. Through sheer hard work and determination, these students have managed to achieve at least the 24 points needed to pass the IB Diploma.
We are also very thankful for all the guidance, academic support and care that the STC staff have given to the Class of ‘22. Sha Tin College is very fortunate to employ an extremely talented and professional group of teachers and support staff who have worked tirelessly to support our students.
Finally, Sha Tin College wishes to acknowledge its graduating students on their incredible achievements, many of whom have secured higher education places in a variety of prestigious universities across the world. To parents and guardians, we would like to express our gratitude to you for entrusting your children’s education to Sha Tin College.
Many congratulations to the resilient and formidable Class of 2022!
