Higher Education Week

While other students enjoyed their CAS week, Year 13 students worked extremely hard with their higher education counsellors and teachers on preparing and submitting university applications.  They have accomplished a lot in these few days.  For example, students received valuable feedback from higher education counsellors and teachers on their personal statements and college essays. They also participated in different workshops and individual meetings in order to refine and improve their university applications.   Many students attended the various talks offered by The University of Hong Kong (HKU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).  Not only was this a great opportunity to get the latest information from the admissions teams, but they also had an opportunity to interact with university undergraduate students!

In addition, HE department invited our alumnus Jason Lam (Class of 2015) who graduated from University College London to share his work experience in business and finance with our students.  We were also happy to meet another alumnus Theodore Hui (Class of 2018), who is now studying at HKUST for Global Business.  As a HKUST student ambassador, Theodore gave a lot of advice to our students for preparing university applications and transitioning to university.

In conclusion, it is a busy but fruitful week for all our Year 13 students.
