Higher Education Preparation Days (Year 13 Students) – 28th & 29th September 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Following on from our two HE days back in June, we have set aside a further two days for all students to finalise their higher education plans. On both days, your son/daughter will be off timetable and there will be a variety of webinars from different universities and guest presenters. The two days are designed to help students complete personal statements and/or college essays and start to make college applications. Please note that during these days, the students will be supported by their tutors, who will eventually write their academic references. Prior to this, we have asked all students to attend the relevant online HE workshops and university seminars so that the HE days can be focused and productive.
List of important dates for students:
University Predicted Grades issued to students – Monday 28th September
HE Days – Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September
The university agreement form and final list of universities to be returned to school – 7th October (This document can be found in the students’ Unifrog Locker account).
Finally, I would like to draw your attention to the Predicted Grade Code of Conduct here that helps explain how predicted grades are formulated by the school and outlines the expected behaviour from students. As always, please feel free to email the higher education department (highered@stconline.edu.hk) should you have any questions or concerns.
Yours faithfully,
David Stott
Head of Careers and High Education
