Explaining Current Situation in HK to Universities

Dear Parents and Guardians of Year 13 Students,

I am writing to inform you that the Higher Education office will send out a letter to all universities and colleges where our students have accepted offers, which explains the current situation in Hong Kong. The letter (please see attached) highlights the difficult situation that our students have faced this year and indeed last November and the potential knock-on effects to exams, visas, and travel plans. Many universities have already written to me acknowledging these mitigating circumstances in terms of academic performance and the HE office continues to work closely with them.
