What is your name?
Where are you studying?
University of Bath, the UK
What is your major?
How do you describe your University?
Bath is a relatively small university, meaning that there is a real sense of community here. Everyone is extremely welcoming and supportive, and there are always events happening around the university for whatever hobbies or activities you enjoy. The university prioritises a good work-life balance, so the emphasis is placed on both learning and having fun, providing students with a well-rounded university experience (We also have ducks!)
What is the happiest experience in your first year?
My happiest experience was joining the musical theatre society. It was a challenge at first having to actively go and join shows with others, as well as having to juggle both rehearsals and coursework, however, it has given me opportunities to make friends with other students from different courses and years, and allows me to have an outlet when coursework feels too stressful.
What is your top tip/advice that you will give to Sha Tin College students on their Higher Education?
When researching universities, do more research into the course structure as a whole. Taking a look at the modules offered and how the course is taught/assessed will allow you to gain a thorough understanding of what you may be doing in the next few years, and determine whether the course is right for you or not.
