Young Musicians Festival 2021 – Finalists
Dear Parents / Guardians and Students
Thank you so much everyone who auditioned for The Young Musicians Festival at Sha Tin College, we have had over 60 applications and around 100 students taking part in this new online version.
It has been a real pleasure to watch the great talent that is at Sha Tin College, however Ms Swain and myself had to make a very difficult decision and come up with the finalists list.
So here are the soloist finals:
Years 7-9
- Coen Li (7X2)
- Sze Yu (8D1)
- Kristie Lo (9G2)
Years 10-11
- Pely Yau (10G2)
- Arhan Kothari (10G2)
- Keisha Buckland (10G2)
- Ruby Mak (11X1)
Years 12- 13
- Oscar Lee (12D2)
- Leanne Jackson (12X2)
- Ivan Lam (12P2)
For the ensemble award the finalists are as follows:
Years 7-9
- Lucas Cheng (9D2) & Marcas Cheng (9G2)
Years 10-11
- Marvin Chan(10P1), Emma Paryani (10X2), Natalie Tang (10G1), Tom Chan (10P2)
- Kinfung Li (10G2), Keisha Buckland (10G2), Arhan Kothari (10G2), Ruby Wu (10G2)
Years 12-13
- Brian Ma (12G1), Nathan Hui (12G2)
- Meryl Lam (12P2), Danielle Wong (12P2)
The competition will take place on Thursday 11 March 2.30pm – 4.00pm in Rooms 351&355. Unfortunately this is not open to parents, students or teachers due to the current social distancing restraints. However contestants will be able to watch. The competition will be filmed and broadcast the following week.
