The Sha Tin College Arts Festival March 21, 22, 23 March 2017 – Year 7 Parents
The Sha Tin College Arts Festival
March 21, 22 + 23 March 2017
Dear Year 7 students, Parents and Guardians,
On March 23, the Annual Arts Festival concert will take place in the Hall. Excitingly, all Year 7 students are singing this year!
Over the next four weeks, students will learn two songs: ‘Pompeii’ by Bastille and ‘One Day Like This’ by Elbow as part of their music lessons. They will then perform these songs with the school choir, orchestra and Soul Band in one huge ensemble.
All students are expected to attend this event as it is part of their musical curriculum. Students are required to meet in the Hall at 7.00pm and should be dressed in school uniform. The performance will begin at 7.30pm.
Tickets will be available through the White House. They are $50, which includes a pass for all Arts events that week. Alternatively, it is $30 if you would prefer to just attend the concert at 7.30pm on Thursday March 23.
I hope you agree this is a fantastic opportunity for all of our students to perform.
Yours sincerely
Noah Nicholson Alison Marshall
