Sha Tin College School Production

We are very pleased to announce Grease, the latest whole school production by the Sha Tin College Arts /PE Faculty. Grease is a musical with book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

As always in College productions, there is a large cast, orchestra and crew of students and teaching staff supporting the production both on stage and behind the scenes.

Grease is a musical about teens in love in the 50’s! It is 1959 at Rydell High and greaser Danny Zuko and nice girl Sandy Dubrowski are in love. They spend time at the beach before they part, only to bump into each other again at the start of the new term at Rydell High.  Danny is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black-jacketed greasers, while Sandy hangs around with the Pink Ladies, a group of fashionable girls led by Rizzo. When they meet again Danny isn’t the same as he was at the beach.  What should Sandy do?

Grease is full of great characters and packed with well loved songs such as ‘Greased Lightning’, ‘Summer Nights’ and ‘You’re the One That I Want’.

Grease is coming to Sha Tin College on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of December at 7pm in the main hall.  Tickets can be purchased at $80 per adult and $50 per student.  If you would like to buy tickets then please fill in the attached slip below and return it to the White House during break time (10.50am – 11.15am) and lunchtime (12.20pm – 1.10pm).  Payment is by school Octopus only.

The performance on Friday 11th December will be a gala night and we would like to invite all those who are attending this performance to dress in costumes from the 1950s or as a greaser, preppie or jock!
