Post-16 Exhibition Evening, Thursday 3rd November 2016

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Sha Tin College will host its annual Post-16 Exhibition Evening on Thursday 3rd November 2016 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Students, parents and guardians will have opportunities to find out more information about the available options on offer in the Senior School, namely the IB Diploma Programme and various alternative curriculum pathways that are available at Sha Tin College and the English Schools Foundation. This year, we are particularly excited as a candidacy school to be able to speak to you about the IB Career-related Programme.
Please spend some time with your child to read the Year 12 and 13 Curriculum brochure (which is also available on the College website) and discuss the various options available prior to the Post-16 Exhibition Evening. This important publication provides details of the options available for students applying to study in the Senior School.
One major purpose of the evening is to offer you the chance to ask questions regarding your child’s Post-16 curriculum pathways and options choices, including matters related to Higher Education. There will be a large number of people available on the evening, including members of the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Faculty, Heads of Department, subject specialist teachers, the Higher Education team, and Senior School students. Members of the Chinese and Mathematics Departments will also be available to explain the various options available to students following the IB Diploma Programme or IB Courses pathways.
We look forward to meeting you at the Post-16 Exhibition Evening on Thursday 3rd November from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
If you have any initial questions, please feel free to contact one of us at the school.
Yours faithfully
