MidYIS Test Individual Pupil Record

Dear Parents / Carers

As you will know, in the second week of school, your child took their MidYIS test.  We have posted home your child’s results.  A presentation which explains the use of MidYIS across ESF and what your own child’s Individual Pupil Record means can be found by clicking on this link.

How do we use the information?

MidYIS is just one method we use to get to know your child’s strengths and areas for development as a learner.  This information will be added to teacher professional judgement, observations and assessments.  Our aim is to ensure your child is happy and successful during their seven years at Sha Tin College and help prepare her / him for adult and professional life.  The MidYIS results are just one method we use to help support our students.  There are many ways to be successful at Sha Tin College.  We are looking forward to nurturing your child’s talents over the coming years.
