HKU’s Medical Summer Broadening Programme July 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our students had an extraordinary summer experience this year in higher education planning. They participated in virtual campus tours or online summer programmes to prepare for their university applications. For example, Wai Kit KONG (13P1) was nominated to receive a full scholarship for joining the one-week online HKU Medical Summer Broadening Programme 2020. It is great to know that Wai Kit enjoyed the programme and learned a lot from it. Let’s see what he shared with us below.

For lower form students who want to see if they have an interest in studying in medicine and whether being a doctor would be a good career option, the Medical Summer Broadening Program is definitely the next step which allows students to be fully immersed in the world of medicine and experience it for real.
