History Bee and Bowl Update

Last month, our school’s History Bee and Bowl team attended both the online Asian Championships as well as the online Regional Championships. Over one hundred students from schools all across Asia participated in the two competitions. Once again STC achieved impressive results.

The Asian Championships were held on 17 October, and we were represented by three teams which all reached the playoffs. Two of our teams managed to achieve 3rd place finishes, and STC was acknowledged as Hong Kong’s best performing school.

In the regional championships, our school’s results were also impressive, with one quarter finalist team, one semi-finalist team and another 3rd place finish. Our new Middle School team came agonisingly close to making the semi-finals – a great effort!

It was a competition full of laughs and heartbreak but in the end it was a great experience for everyone involved. A big congratulations and well done to everyone.

A further special mention to students who achieved exceptional results in the Bee competition. Congratulations to William Huang 12G1 who came first in the Varsity Division and Jason Tam 10X2 who made the final and came 4th in the Junior Varsity Division.
