Frankenstein: A Stage Manager’s Point of View

Sha Tin College’s 2019 Whole School Production is Frankenstein! Students have had two weeks of rehearsals so far and have started to develop the skeleton of the show.

We are the stage managers of Frankenstein, which means we get to see the play evolve right from the start, when the scripts are just words, until the final bow on the last night. Our job is to help keep everything off-stage organised and aid the performers and directors whenever possible.

Throughout the process we will assist with set design, have input over the use of space, keep track of script edits, carry out the set changes and give feedback to the cast from our perspective.
