Janice : I think my university experience at UniMelb has been very holistic.

Jason :  UniMelb is a very diversified university.

Austin : People here at the university and the Melbourne city are very friendly.

Our alumni Janice Chan, Jason Chan and Austin Cheung have been enjoying their studies at the University of Melbourne (UniMelb).  They chose UniMelb based on a variety of reasons such as the excellent quality of teaching, a wide range of program choices, a safe environment to live and a competitive yet collaborative study atmosphere. Perhaps, more importantly, they are all impressed with the Melbourne learning model. This model allows students to develop a deeper understanding of their specialist area of study. They also have lots of opportunities to study subjects other than their majors, which is called “Breadth”. In order to prepare for a career in the 21st century, UniMelb tries to equip their students not only with the academic knowledge but also help them create career resilience. UniMelb students always enjoy the flexibility of study and have a variety of choice throughout their studies, as well as having a lot of opportunities to learn from their peers and UniMelb staff from all over the world.

Janice finished her Bachelor degree in Psychology and just started a Juris Doctor (JD) program. Jason is currently studying Design in Urban Planning. Austin participated in the very first commencement ceremony two weeks ago and looks forward to the Biomedicine course which will lead to the study of Physiotherapy afterwards. They are all very happy to share their study experience with the STC community. Please contact our HE Counsellor, Ms Lam for their contact details if needed.
