A Phoenix from the Flames
For many years Girls’ Basketball at Sha Tin College achieved unrivaled success, winning 5 straight A & B Grade ESF titles, 3 HKSSF division one titles, regular appearances at the Jing Yong Tournament and 2 Beijing Great Wall Shoot-Out titles. The ‘Immortal’ 2013 A/B Grade Team even went on a 4-year undefeated stretch. Then came the fall, relegation to Division 2, and a 4-year stretch with no titles or success of any kind.
Y8 Girls Team – the winners of ESF Basketball
After four lean years the girls are back! ESF A Grade Champions once again this year and a separated shoulder and concussion away from HKSSF honours and another 1st place in Beijing. The future also looks bright with Year 7 Girls’ Team as runners-up and Year 8 Girls’ Team winners in their respective categories in the summer ESF tournaments.
