  • Amber foundation

    The Amber Foundation is a charity whose mission aims to provide support for a variety of under-served communities in Hong Kong and South Asia. They are currently running the toiletries project, where they collect airline and hotel amenity kits. Then they sort and repack them into men’s and women’s toiletry kits. Finally offered to our Charity Partners who support women in shelters, domestic workers, the homeless, refugees, the elderly or disabled. We will be helping the toiletries project by collection from our school community. To help out with the Amber foundations we are asking you guys to help us out to donate your spare toiletries. Our collection points will be located in the SCHOOL ENTRANCE and the SSC which will be boxes or suitcases with giant AMBER FOUNDATION letters written on them with the poster of our toiletry requirements placed on top.  Our collection dates will be from April 29th - May 3rd, please remember to bring your goodies and simply drop them inside our collection boxes at the end of the week we will do a final cleanup.     Dear Students, We are pleased to announce that the 2023-2024 edition of Sha Tin College’s yearbook The Explorer is now available for order.  The Explorer 2023-2024 contains many wonderful memories of a year in which we’ve had the opportunity to engage in many exciting activities. This year’s The Explorer includes all of the excitement of Explorer Week, Sports Day, Swimming Gala, art exhibitions and student-led and extra-curricular activities. The order period will end on Sunday, 19th May 2024, 11:59 pm. The Explorer 2023-2024 is priced HK$125 per copy.  The Explorer will be available for collection in late June (date and details to be announced in due course). Only students who have placed an order successfully before the order deadline stated above will be able to collect copies. Thank you for your support. We hope you will enjoy reading The Explorer 2023-2024 and looking back at it in years to come. If you wish to order a printed copy of the yearbook, please ask your parents to click here to log in with their parent account to order your copy via Gateway.     BioArtAttack (2D) competition

    The Nancy Rothwell Award, now part of the BioArtAttack (2D) competition, encourages children aged 7-18 to express their love for biology through art, focusing on drawing or painting animals, plants, or fungi. This competition not only showcases the intersection of art and science but also highlights the creative talents of young individuals in these fields. The winners for 2023 have been announced, showcasing a variety of colorful and detailed artistic pieces. The competition, supported by the Royal Veterinary College, emphasizes the educational and engaging aspects of this unique blend of disciplines.
