Demo Lecture at STC from University of Birmingham Law School

On 7 January, STC had the honour of hosting Professor Fiona de Londras, the esteemed Barber Professor of Jurisprudence from the University of Birmingham Law School.

During her visit, she delivered a captivating demonstration lecture to our Years 10-12 students on the timely and important topic of Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights.

The lecture was both engaging and informative, sparking the students’ interest in this rapidly evolving field. They listened attentively, took detailed notes, and participated in inspiring conversations with Professor Fiona about the academic and ethical implications of AI. This experience provided our students with valuable insights into the intersection of technology and human rights, encouraging them to think critically about the future of this dynamic area.
