Alumna Talk

Founded in 1794, Bowdoin College is one of the very top liberal arts colleges in the USA.  Bowdoin College is situated in Maine and their current student population is around 1,800.  Students enjoy the rigorous academic environment and various student clubs.  One of their famous alumni is Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix.

Joanne started her freshman year at Bowdoin and is now studying online in Hong Kong because of the pandemic.  In her sharing session, Joanne talked about her experience of studying and living in Maine and her extracurricular activities.  She also shared useful websites with our students to help with higher education research.  At the end of the session, Joanne highlighted the importance of choosing a ‘good match’ school and choosing a course that will keep you motivated for four years!
