Academic Research Summer Programme

Catherine joined an online academic research program where she had an opportunity to work one-on-one with Professor George Gescheider of Hamilton College (US).   Catherine’s research program focused on neuroscience and her course was entitled “The Sense of Touch Through Neuroscience”. This experience allowed Catherine to develop her interest in the traditional lab sciences beyond the IB curriculum, in addition to developing her skills of analysis/research and essay writing skills. The opportunity to work directly with university academics proved invaluable! Obviously, undertaking such a demanding summer school program calls for excellent time management skills and commitment.
