Textbook Return (Year 7-8)
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Re: Return of all school owned textbooks
I am writing to you to explain the system for students in Years 7 and 8 to return all their school owned textbooks.
Students in Years 7 and 8 will return all their books on Thursday June 21st.
Students should bring in their textbooks for all subjects and their school registered octopus cards. At appropriate times during the day students will be taken to room 221 to return their books. Students are only to return textbooks during their designated timeslot and when accompanied by teaching or support staff. The schedule is outlined below.
I appreciate that the books may be heavy for some students to carry. They are welcome to bring them in to school in advance of June 21st and store them in their lockers. However, if students do this they must retrieve their books before the start of the period of their book return timeslot. There will not be enough time to access lockers during the 10-minute return slot.
On returning the correct books in a reasonable condition, students will be given a receipt to confirm that we have received the books.
Bills for any lost, incorrect or damaged books will be sent out from June 27th. Students will not be able to register for the new academic year in August until all books have been returned and outstanding bills settled.
